Custom collection of hand thrown clay bowls by Nikola Čemanová.
“The primary source of my fascination with the material of clay is, that it is the archetype of matter. Clay was in the hands of the prehistoric man and it has been since then shaping the way we live.
It seduced me with its innocence, with no need for arguments for its existence. Ceramics is the crossroad of all life-giving elements and the chain of hands through which it passed on the way from its source to my hands is very short (or none). The clay used for the collection of vessels (NATURALLY) is a combination of clay digged in the fields of the Slovak village- Hontianske Trsťany and a red clay sourced in Hungary.
